Preparing for LASIK
To prepare for laser vision correction, a complete eye exam with special testing will be done. The complete eye exam takes 1-2 hours and includes:
- Complete dilated exam
- Corneal map
- Wavescan measurements
- Corneal thickness measurement
- Prescription for glasses if you are not a candidate
Who is a Candidate?
- You must be 18 years of age or older.
- A stable eye glass prescription for two years.
- Your eyes must be free of disease.
- You must have realistic expectations.
